Pabrik Konolfingen di Swiss memproduksi produk tersebut.
Taruna menyebut potensi cemaran berasal dari bahan baku minyak arachidonic acid atau ARA tertentu.
Bahan tersebut berpotensi mengandung toksin cereulide.
Oleh karena itu, BPOM langsung melakukan penelusuran dan pengujian di Indonesia.
Hasil Uji BPOM Nyatakan Produk Aman
BPOM mencatat dua bets produk formula bayi masuk ke Indonesia.
Kedua bets tersebut menjalani pengujian laboratorium.
Hasil uji menunjukkan BPOM tidak mendeteksi toksin cereulide.
Taruna menyampaikan bahwa kadar toksin berada di bawah batas kuantifikasi 0,20 µg/kg.
Dengan demikian, hasil uji menunjukkan produk memenuhi ambang keamanan.
Meski begitu, BPOM tetap mengutamakan prinsip kehati-hatian.
Produk yang Terdampak di Indonesia
Produk yang masuk ke Indonesia adalah S-26 Promil Gold pHPro 1.
Product ini ditujukan untuk bayi usia 0 hingga 6 bulan.
Nomor izin edar produk tercatat sebagai ML 562209063696.
BPOM mengidentifikasi dua nomor bets terdampak.
Nomor bets tersebut adalah 51530017C2 dan 51540017A1.
BPOM menegaskan fokus pengawasan hanya pada nomor bets tersebut.
Belum Ada Laporan Gangguan Kesehatan
Taruna menegaskan bahwa BPOM belum menerima laporan gangguan kesehatan pada bayi di Indonesia.
Tidak ada kasus yang dikaitkan langsung dengan konsumsi produk tersebut.
Namun, BPOM tetap bersikap waspada karena bayi termasuk kelompok rentan.
BPOM menilai perlindungan kesehatan bayi harus menjadi prioritas utama.

PT Nestlé Indonesia langsung menarik produk terdampak secara sukarela.
Penarikan ini berlangsung di bawah pengawasan ketat BPOM.
Langkah ini bertujuan memastikan produk tidak lagi beredar di pasaran.
Di tingkat global, EURASFF bersama The International Food Safety Authorities Network atau INFOSAN mengeluarkan peringatan keamanan pangan.
Peringatan tersebut menyasar negara-negara yang menerima distribusi produk terkait.
Bahaya Toksin Cereulide Perlu Diwaspadai
Taruna menjelaskan bahwa bakteri Bacillus cereus menghasilkan toksin cereulide.
Toksin ini memiliki sifat tahan panas.
Air panas atau proses memasak tidak dapat menonaktifkan toksin tersebut.
Paparan toksin dapat memicu gejala cepat.
Gejala biasanya muncul dalam 30 menit hingga 6 jam.
Gejala meliputi muntah hebat, diare, dan tubuh terasa sangat lemas.
