“Pasien cuci darah memiliki angka kematian yang cukup tinggi setelah lima tahun. Jadi, mereka tidak bisa kembali seperti semula,” jelas Dr. Renan.
Namun, dengan transplantasi, pasien tidak perlu lagi melakukan cuci darah rutin. Mereka hanya perlu mengonsumsi obat untuk menjaga kondisi ginjal yang baru.
