Selain itu, ia menegaskan pentingnya menjaga keamanan tenaga medis di fasilitas kesehatan.


Korban adalah dr. Syahpri Putra Wangsa, Sp.PD, yang saat itu melayani pasien di ruang perawatan rumah sakit milik pemerintah daerah.

Kronologi Intimidasi dan Kekerasan Verbal

Keluarga pasien memaksa dr. Syahpri melepas masker ketika melakukan visit.
Mereka juga melontarkan kata-kata kasar yang mengarah pada kekerasan verbal.
Tindakan tersebut mengganggu prosedur pencegahan penularan penyakit infeksius.
Hal ini berpotensi membahayakan keselamatan pasien, tenaga medis, dan pihak lain di ruangan tersebut.

Kecaman Tegas dari Menteri Kesehatan

Menkes pada Kamis, 14 Agustus 2025, mengatakan, “Kami sangat menyesalkan dan mengecam keras tindakan kekerasan terhadap tenaga medis di RSUD Sekayu.”
Selain itu, ia menegaskan kekerasan terhadap tenaga medis tidak bisa dibenarkan dalam situasi apa pun.
Oleh karena itu, Kementerian Kesehatan tidak akan menoleransi bentuk kekerasan apa pun kepada tenaga kesehatan yang sedang bertugas.

Perlindungan Hukum bagi Tenaga Medis

Budi Gunadi menegaskan bahwa undang-undang melindungi keselamatan dan keamanan tenaga kesehatan.
Selain itu, Undang-Undang Nomor 17 Tahun 2023 tentang Kesehatan mengatur perlindungan tersebut.
Oleh karena itu, tenaga medis berhak memperoleh perlindungan hukum penuh saat menjalankan tugasnya.

Standar Profesi dan Prosedur Kerja

Menkes menjelaskan bahwa dokter bekerja berdasarkan standar profesi, prosedur operasional baku, dan standar pelayanan kesehatan yang berlaku di setiap fasilitas kesehatan.
Oleh karena itu, fasilitas kesehatan harus menjadi tempat aman bagi pasien dan tenaga medis.

Imbauan untuk Masyarakat

Budi Gunadi mengimbau masyarakat untuk menghormati profesi tenaga kesehatan.
Ia meminta masyarakat tidak bertindak di luar batas ketika merasa tidak puas terhadap pelayanan.
