Medicalnews – Menteri Pemberdayaan Perempuan dan Perlindungan Anak, Arifatul Choiri Fauzi, menyoroti tingginya kekerasan di Indonesia. Ia menyebut tiga faktor utama yang memicu kondisi tersebut.

Pertama, faktor ekonomi sering menekan keluarga. Kedua, pola asuh yang kurang tepat memengaruhi perilaku anak. Ketiga, penggunaan gadget dan media sosial yang tidak bijak memperburuk situasi.

Arifatul menyampaikan hal ini dalam forum Hari Perempuan Internasional. Forum tersebut mengangkat tema perlindungan hak perempuan dan anak.

Angka Kematian Ibu dan Anak Masih Tinggi

Data kesehatan menunjukkan kondisi yang memprihatinkan. Setiap tahun, lebih dari 4.100 ibu hamil meninggal.

Selain itu, sekitar 33 ribu bayi dan balita meninggal setiap tahun. Angka ini setara dengan empat kematian setiap jam.

Profesor Kesehatan Masyarakat UGM, Adi Utarini, menjelaskan kondisi ini. Ia menilai kesenjangan layanan kesehatan menjadi penyebab utama.

Akses layanan kesehatan yang belum merata memperburuk kondisi tersebut. Oleh karena itu, perbaikan sistem menjadi kebutuhan mendesak.

Kekerasan Anak Masih Jadi Masalah Besar

Data pemerintah menunjukkan kekerasan terhadap anak masih tinggi. Sekitar 50,78 persen anak usia 13–17 tahun pernah mengalami kekerasan.

Jumlah tersebut setara dengan sekitar 11,5 juta anak. Selain itu, 33,64 persen anak mengalami kekerasan dalam satu tahun terakhir.

Data ini menunjukkan bahwa perlindungan anak masih lemah. Oleh sebab itu, pemerintah perlu memperkuat upaya pencegahan.

Kekerasan terhadap Perempuan Mulai Menurun

Angka kekerasan terhadap perempuan menunjukkan penurunan. Pada 2024, angka tercatat sebesar 6,6 persen.

Sebelumnya, angka tersebut mencapai 9,4 persen pada 2018. Penurunan ini menunjukkan adanya perbaikan.

Namun, pemerintah tetap menilai angka ini masih tinggi. Oleh karena itu, langkah lanjutan tetap diperlukan.

Pemerintah Batasi Akses Media Sosial untuk Anak

Pemerintah merespons masalah ini dengan kebijakan baru. Kementerian Komunikasi menerbitkan aturan pembatasan media sosial.

Anak di bawah 16 tahun tidak boleh membuat akun secara mandiri. Aturan ini mulai berlaku pada 28 Maret 2026.

Kebijakan ini bertujuan mengurangi dampak negatif penggunaan gadget. Selain itu, langkah ini diharapkan melindungi anak dari risiko digital.

Program Ruang Bersama Indonesia Perkuat Perlindungan

Pemerintah juga meluncurkan program Ruang Bersama Indonesia. Program ini bertujuan memperkuat perlindungan perempuan dan anak di desa.

Program ini menggabungkan petugas dari berbagai sektor. Dengan demikian, layanan menjadi lebih terintegrasi.

RBI juga menyediakan ruang aman untuk masyarakat. Warga dapat mengikuti kelas parenting dan berbagi pengalaman.

Selain itu, program ini mendukung pemberdayaan ekonomi perempuan. Pelatihan dan akses modal menjadi bagian dari program ini.

Target Perluasan Program hingga 138 Desa

Saat ini, RBI telah berjalan di tujuh lokasi. Pemerintah menargetkan 138 desa bergabung hingga akhir tahun.

Program ini mengandalkan kerja sama lintas sektor. Selain itu, partisipasi masyarakat menjadi kunci keberhasilan.

Arifatul menjelaskan pentingnya kolaborasi tersebut. Ia mengibaratkan program ini sebagai kekuatan yang menyatukan potensi desa.

Layanan Pengaduan dan Forum Perempuan Diperkuat

Pemerintah juga memperluas layanan SAPA 129. Layanan ini membantu masyarakat melaporkan kasus kekerasan.

Selain itu, pemerintah mengembangkan sistem data perempuan dan anak berbasis desa. Sistem ini membantu pengambilan kebijakan yang lebih tepat.

Forum perempuan juga mendorong kolaborasi berbagai pihak. Kegiatan ini memperkuat peran perempuan dalam kesehatan masyarakat.

Melalui langkah ini, pemerintah berharap perlindungan semakin kuat. Selain itu, kesejahteraan perempuan dan anak dapat meningkat secara berkelanjutan.
