Medicalnews – Dokter Spesialis Obstetri dan Ginekologi dari RS Pondok Indah, dr Gita Pratama, menjelaskan bahwa terdapat enam gangguan rongga rahim yang dapat membuat wanita sulit hamil. Ia menyampaikan penjelasan itu dalam acara “Peran Histeroskopi dalam Penanganan Infertilitas” di Jakarta pada 19 November 2025.

dr Gita mengatakan bahwa keenam gangguan tersebut sering berhubungan dengan infertilitas. Ia menjelaskan bahwa pemeriksaan histeroskopi dapat mendeteksi gangguan tersebut setelah dokter melihat kecurigaan awal melalui pemeriksaan USG.

Ia menambahkan bahwa beberapa kelainan dapat memicu pendarahan tidak normal, keguguran berulang, atau kegagalan program bayi tabung.

Peran Histeroskopi dalam Mendeteksi Gangguan

Histeroskopi menjadi alat penting untuk melihat kondisi bagian dalam rahim. Alat ini memiliki kamera kecil yang masuk melalui vagina untuk menampilkan kondisi rahim di layar.

dr Gita menegaskan bahwa histeroskopi hanya dilakukan jika ada indikasi yang jelas. Pemeriksaan ini berguna ketika dokter mencurigai adanya polip, mioma, atau gangguan perdarahan yang berulang.
