Sementara di Indonesia, penelitian serupa masih tergolong minim. Oleh karena itu, para dokter di Indonesia banyak merujuk pada hasil studi luar negeri. Meski begitu, Roy menyarankan masyarakat untuk tidak hanya mengandalkan bahan alami sebagai penurun kolesterol.
